The Wolf and the Witch continues the story of Running Man and explores what became of the Werewolf immediately after he accessed the Spark. Chronologically, the second installment, The Spark, takes place within the timeline of The Wolf and the Witch. Although The Spark seemingly covers a larger timeframe, the realm of The Wolf and the Witch exists outside the time and space of The Spark.

Running Man is the first in a series of comics about monsters overcoming a mystery. A strange force called “the spark” appears at random and forces citizens to evacuate their homes, but nobody knows what threat it actually poses. A werewolf, with some encouragement from his ghost partner, decides to find out what the big deal is.
