Bottle World: GRODY (sinister chuckling)
Missy plays on her bed in her bedroom.
Missy’s mom walks through the hallway outside of Missy’s bedroom.
Missy’s mom walks past Missy’s bedroom door as Missy continues to play.
Missy’s mom passes Missy’s bedroom door.
Mom stops outside Missy’s bedroom door and looks inside.
Mom: MISSY!
Missy stops playing and stares at Mom.
Missy: Yeah?
Mom: Your room looks awful!
Missy: I was getting around to picking it up…
Mom: Well you better do it quick, or you’ll get an infestation of…
Mom: GRODIES.
Missy looks concerned.
Missy: Infestation of… what.
Mom reaches down to pick a book up off the floor.
Mom: Look at your books… You left them on the floor!
Mom: Grodies can reach them on the floor.
Mom: You leave them on the floor and Grodies will
Mom: crinkle up the spines, and
Mom: maybe rip out pages…
Mom: AND EAT THEM.
Mom: Your favorite books
Mom: are safer on the shelf.
Missy picks up her books off the floor.
Mom: Oh! Your toys.
Mom: You have a toy box!
Mom: It’s there to keep your toys safe, Missy.
Mom: Look at this! The work of Grodies.
Missy: I thought I just ripped it without noticing.
Mom: Nope! Grodies did it!
Mom: They pull the stuffing from your plushies
Mom: then fill them up with dirt and rotten onions!
Missy: OH THAT’S GROSS!
Mom: Lucky the Grodies didn’t get that far, huh?
Mom: If they had, your room would smell awful!
Missy puts her toys in her toy box.
Mom: Speaking of which…
Mom: How long have you had these dirty dishes here?
Mom: Grodies love dirty dishes.
Mom: They use the grime to grow mold gardens…
Mom: which they water with their spit!
Missy: Uck! That’s awful!
Mom: I’ll take care of the dishes.
Mom: You need to make your bed.
Missy: The bed isn’t so bad…
Mom: Grodies can hide in the folds of the covers.
Mom: And they’ll turn your dreams into nightmares.
Missy: Okay! Okay! Okay!
Mom: I’ll be right back.
Mom leaves the room. Missy picks up her bed covers.
Missy tosses the covers over her bed.
Missy smooths out her bed covers.
Missy picks up her pillow.
Missy throws her pillow on her bed.
Missy approaches the foot of her bed.
Missy sits down on her bed.
Missy: DONE.
Mom: Looks great, sweetie!
Mom: You’ll have no trouble with Grodies now!
Mom: …Probably.
Mom leaves the room.
Missy sits silently on her bed.
Missy: Uuuuuuuggghhh
Missy: Finally… DONE.
Missy: Grodies probably aren’t even real.
(sinister chuckling)
Missy sits up and looks at the window.
A Grody stares through the window, chuckling.
The Grody continues chuckling.
The Grody drops from the window and disappears.
The Grody is gone.
Missy panics.
Missy reaches for the curtains.
Missy closes the curtains.
