Sprint Review: July 05 – July 18, 2021
posted on Jul 18, 2021 by Meg James
This post is a review of the sprint taking place from July 05 to July 18, 2021. The tasks in this sprint were related to three projects: Wild Hunt, Bleakbarrow Incident, and Bottle World: The Key Suspect.
The tasks
Bottle World: The Key Suspect’s print prep is still in progress. Some final proofreading was done, but I got a little hung up on formatting and technical details. I have a printer in mind, but will need to contact them in the next sprint. This deliverable and its remaining tasks will be moved forward to the next sprint.
Bleakbarrow Incident part 3 was essentially drafted during this sprint, so part 4 will be included in the next sprint. This project will be renamed yet again to “Bleakpoint Incident,” since I realized that its current name is a little too similar to a quest-important location in a popular video game. I don’t know if “Bleakpoint” is more original, but it sounds more generic and it still suits the story well.
Wild Hunt chapter 2 did not see much progress in this sprint. L got a big influx of commission work these past few weeks. This will be moved forward to the next sprint to be finished.
Next Sprint
The next sprint will involve hammering out more (hopefully all!) of the technical aspects of printing Bottle World: The Key Suspect, completing the script of Bleakpoint Incident part 4, and completing the script of Wild Hunt chapter 2.
Thanks for joining us! Be sure to check the “Projects” tab in the site header to take a peek at the Story Lab. That’s where you’ll see the progress on our current sprint. I messed with the caching settings for certain parts of the website, so if you had problems with the Story Lab appearing outdated, that should be fixed!
